My Teaching Philosophy
Music is more than just a few chords and a melody. Music allows us to express ourselves and to be creative, music inspires us and most importantly, music is a proven and effective learning tool for young minds.

What makes you want to be a music teacher?
To watch a student master a difficult guitar chord or witness them successfully play a tricky scale is a wonderful experience to have as a teacher. To share their achievements makes the role of a teacher a very fortunate one.

Awards I have received include:
Year 9 & 10 Muscianship awards (2011, 2012).

Year 10 Guitar Award (2012).

Year 10 Music Performance Captain (2012).

Appointed Year 12 Musical Creative Director (2014)

Year 12 Music Valedictorian (2014)

My Favorite Artists, Bands, Composers, Pieces of Music are:
The Beatles, Electric Light Orchestra, AC/DC, Foo Fighters, The Cult, Keith Urban, Peter Frampton, Divinyls, Seether, Danny Elfman (for his brilliant movie scores and soundtracks), and the entire rock opera of Jesus Christ Superstar.
