My Teaching Philosophy
My goal is to make learning music more interesting and fun, rather than playing music from the book. I would love students to learn and make use of their musical skills, that playing music with soul and emotion can inspire and touch others’ lives. Lastly, I would also love to teach them to be more confident when playing music.
What makes you want to be a music teacher?
I want to be a music teacher because I want to improve my verbal skills. I would also love to teach others what I have learnt from my music teachers in the past. I would love to inspire, motivate and give hope to students. They are capable of anything, that nothing is impossible. Music plays a big part of our brain. It improves our confidence, verbal and artistic skills; also how we step out from our comfort zone through performing.
Awards I have received include:
Kew high Certificate of Excellence in Music Performance
Certificate of Excellence in Urban Arts
Certificate of Excellence in Performing Arts
