My Teaching Philosophy

I believe that there are 2 key focuses when it comes to teaching music. The first and most important is to make the student fun, because without this there would be no point in playing an instrument. The second is to inspire the student to strive for perfection, as the student will never experience the true beauty and pleasure of playing their instrument if they aren’t motivated to go the distance.

What makes you want to be a music teacher?

I want to be a music teacher as I believe that playing music is a truly special activity, one which I enjoy doing alot. I just wish that I could pass on the sense of fulfilment that playing and instrument gives me

Awards I have received include:

Blackburn High Music Ensembles Award (2014)

What makes you want to be a music teacher

I believe in teaching in a way that can make a difference in my students’ lives.
