Wendy's Music offers adults and children the opportunity to "Learn to Play an instrument or Sing", or join in a group musical activity to learn the joy of music. Programs available may vary at different locations.

Locations

Wendy's Music provides programs in many school and centres throughout Melbourne for the students and families of those schools.
Wendy's Music also provides programs to all ages from pre school to adults at Wendy's professionally equipped studios.

Learn to Play or Sing Program,

Beginners to Advanced levels.

Lesson Content

Beginner, intermediate, advanced programs suitable for all ages from Pre-school to adult.

All students who enrol to "Learn to Play or Sing" will be given the opportinuty to develop the following musical skills:

1. Playing an instrument (or singing)
2. Reading music
3. Understanding music (Theory)
4. Using correct techniques
5. Listening (aural skills for practise & performance)
6. Improvising
7. Performing
8. Playing with others

Instruments

• Piano / Keyboard *
• Singing
• Violin * /Cello
• Guitar
• Bass Guitar
• Drums
• Trumpet / Trombone
• Recorder / Flute / Clarinet / Saxophone etc etc

Please note: * denotes instruments suitable for pre school or young students to begin.

Fee structure

You can choose how many lessons to book at one time. The more lessons you book, the lower the price per lesson.

NB All prices include GST

Studios
30 minute individual lessons :

• $36 for 1 trial lesson or casual lessons
• $132 per 4 lessons month OR
• $330 per 11 week term

60 minute individual lesson:

• $72 for 1 trial lesson or casual lessons
• $264 per 4 lesson month OR
• $660 per 11 week term.

Schools
30 minute small group

• $15 for 1 trial lesson
• $120 per 10 week term
• $13 per lesson for bookings less than a full term.

20 minute individual lessons :

• $25 for 1 trial lesson
• $200 per 10 week term
• $22.50 per lesson for bookings less than a full term.

30 minute individual lessons :

• $36 for 1 trial lesson
• $300 per 10 week term
• $33 per lesson for bookings less than a full term.

NB: An instrument can usually be provided for trial lessons if necessary

Workshop programs are available at wendy's Music Studios and some schools. The little Musos is available at Wendy's studios and Childcare Centres, Kindergartens, and playgroups.

If you’ve wondered what it would be like to learn to play an instrument or learn to sing, then these 1 hour group sessions should satisfy your curiosity!

the Little Musos

$12 casual 30 minute group session
$60 per 5 weekly 30 minute group sessions
$120 per 10 week term

other 60 minute workshops

$15 casual 60 minute group session
$60 per 4 weekly 30 minute group sessions
$135 per 10 week term

the Band Program

4 X 2 hour band rehearsals with a coach, followed by a gig $195

the Voice Program

8 X 30 minute individual sessions,
2 X 60 minute group workshops followed by a gig $285
